About Us
We are a social engineering tool designed to prevent tabletop tragedies.
The Problem with the Box
For decades, board game publishers have printed "2-6 Players" on boxes to maximize retail appeal. The reality? That game is only good at exactly 4 players. At 2, the map is too big. At 6, the downtime will end friendships.
Our Prescriptive Approach
Paper Balcony Jinx was founded in London to cut through the marketing noise. We analyze games as mechanical engines and categorize them based entirely on the mathematical optimal player count. If a game belongs in a 3-player setting, we won't recommend it for a couple's duel.
Not Affiliated
We are wholly independent. We are not affiliated with any board game publisher, distributor, or retail chain. We do not sell games. We provide rigid, data-driven categorization to ensure your game night is a resounding success.
